1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using THOTH ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

THOTH is a trivia game application that allows users to test their knowledge about historical figures through an interactive card-based quiz format.

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 THOTH Pass Subscription

• Monthly Plan: $9.99 USD per month

• Yearly Plan: $79.99 USD per year

3.2 Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.3 Managing Subscriptions

• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

3.4 Free Trial

• If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. In-App Purchases

• The App offers consumable and non-consumable in-app purchases including coin packs and card bundles.

• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.

• Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

5. User Accounts

5.1 Account Creation

• The App creates an anonymous account upon first use.

• You may optionally link your account with Apple ID or Google for cross-device access.

5.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

5.3 Account Deletion

• You may delete your account at any time through the Profile settings.

• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

• All game progress, purchases, and data will be permanently deleted.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the App

7. Intellectual Property

• All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and software, is the property of Tao Studio or its licensors.

• Historical figure images and information are used for educational and entertainment purposes.

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAO STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Refund Policy

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.

• Refund requests must be made through Apple according to their refund policy.

• Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
