BiteMap is an iPhone app for couples. Each of you picks a character, and you leave kisses, bites and slaps on your partner's character, exactly where you touch. Your partner sees the mark on their phone at once, with a notification that says what you left and where.
Tap Get my code in the app. You get a 6-character code to send by Messages, WhatsApp or anything else. Your partner taps My partner sent me a code and types it in, and you are connected. A code works for 15 minutes.
Yes, that is what it is for: a small touch in the middle of the day when you are apart. The latest mark shows on your partner's home screen and lock screen widgets, and they can kiss back straight from the notification without opening the app.
In iCloud, in your own and your partner's accounts, through Apple's CloudKit. There is no BiteMap account and no BiteMap server holding your marks. Until you connect with a partner, everything stays on your iPhone.
BiteMap is free to download and has no ads. Four of the nine characters are free. The other five can be unlocked one by one or all together, and a one-time purchase turns any emoji into a mark.
No. BiteMap is for iPhone, and both partners need an iPhone signed in to iCloud.
In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my data. It erases your BiteMap data in iCloud and on your iPhone, disconnects you from your partner and starts the app over. Leave your partner only ends the pairing. You can also email [email protected].
